The receiver features a remote test function that is activated by turning the bite alarms on and off within one second. The receiver sits perfectly upright on a bivvy table and the extra strong radio waves provide a huge range. With the volume setting, the receiver can also be set to completely silent and the vibrate function can then be selected. The extra large LED screen provides very good bite indication. In addition, the receiver can be paired with up to 8 bite alarms. Furthermore, the receiver is also equipped with a bivvy lamp function. The lamp only lights up when three beeps are received in quick succession and the receiver’s LEDs light up in the colour of the bite alarm. Finally, the anti-theft function ensures that the rods cannot be easily stolen, and when the receiver is turned on, it displays exactly how full the batteries still are.
